ALL Races start at 8 a.m.

Come and make the trip out to Fallasburg Park in Lowell, Michigan and run the unusual T-Rex Ten Miler...it'll be well worth the drive.

THE RACE WILL TAKE PLACE AT FALLASBURG PARK IN LOWELL, REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE OPEN SHELTER ON COVERED BRIDGE ROAD from 7:00a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

The course starts out on the grass and runs a loop around the parking lot and then gets on covered bridge road and goes across the covered bridge....up a slight hill and then you will come to a gravel road on the right...all ten milers turn right here... the WIMPS turn left into the trail. The Wimps are on the trail that takes all runners back to the finish line. All Wimps will do this loop twice. All Ten miler runners, when you guys come back down the dirt road you will enter this same trail as the Wimps did and you will be at the 9 mile mark so start picking up the pace! There are 3 BIG CHALLENGES ON THE COURSE...THE MINI T-REX HILL...this is a little teaser just past mile 1.5 on the dirt road...this hill is tough and it will keep you focused for T-REX later on the course.  When you get fully on top of this hill you will turn right and enter the trail system. The second challenge is KONG... this one might give you a challenge, too late to turn around after this one! The KONG section of the course is ONE WAY! Once you get on top of Kong you turn right on the trail and make your way towards the Mighty T-Rex. You conquer the Mighty T-REX HILL at around the 5.5 mile mark. Most will have to walk up this bad boy...but hey that's why your here!!! Earn that t-shirt!... this one you will see coming from a long ways out... as you desend down the winding trail. Every quick glance up the trail will be a constant reminder as to why the race is called the T-Rex Ten Miler and that this trail race is about to get real in a very short amount of time! But as your eyes lay wake to the Mighty T-Rex Hill... you can start to hum the Jurassiac Park Theme song; your trail journey back in time will then begin and you will have trancended into the traildom known as T-REX.... Don't think the race is over just because you mastered the Mighty T-Rex...to get out of this fantasy world you will have to get through the lost Jungle...a nice trail section that time and trail maintainence long forgot. Be certain to keep you hands and feet on the trail at all times through this bad boy or the Velociraptor Briars may end up scratching you! Out of the jungle and back on a nice two track will lead you back to the dirt road. This is about mile 7 and there will be the last water table station here...take water if you need it. Turn right on the dirt road until you get to the stop sign. (careful when crossing the street and stop for cars if cars are present) Once you cross the street you will immediately enter the trail again on the left side of the road. Nice big pines will greet you for the next mile and then back out on the final stretch of dirt road that you ran on at the start of the race. Take the dirt road until the end and at the stop sign you will enter the trail on the left across the street and you are now at mile 9 and this trail will take you to the finish line! The finish line will be at the open shelter right where you signed up for the race or picked up your race packet...and behold the bathrooms and your car are also right there! Be sure to bring a towel and go soak in the river after the race...your legs will love it! Be sure to stay for the Speed Raffle after the race...usually we atart it around 10:45 am so long as Raffle Man Don has recovered from finishing his his WIMPY race!

This is a "not to be missed" race...one to mark on your calendar!

WE HAVE DIRT ROADS...

The Wimpy race is a double 3k loop that stays right around the park.

AND TRAILS...

Sorry Wimps your course is only 4.4 miles long!

The Age Group Winners in the T-Rex will get The Giant T-Rex Medal and Over-all Winners will get the Giant T-Rex.

Come on out and run a REALLY fun and Challenging Course.

Races like this one do not come around too often...

The T-REX TERRAIN will be waiting for YOU!

...and OF COURSE WE CAN'T SHOW YOU A PICTURE OF T-REX HILL BECAUSE WE WOULDN'T WANT TO SCARE YOU AWAY...but WE Guarantee YOU; YOU will have something to TALK about when you finish this RACE! The T-rex Hill is where you find out that all those mountains that you've been climbing earlier were just little grains of sand! Finally if you need another summer Challenge, come and run The MUMMY alf Marathon and Full Marathon!

THIS WILL BE ONE "DINO"-MITE OF A RUN!

"...the mile long grin on T-REX's face will soon enough begin as the little hairs on the back of your neck begin to rise as you pass by mile six and start to make your climb...up, up, up...higher with each step and the first words that will come out of your mouth were Oh My and a fewof you runners might even start to cry..." -taken from the T-REX Ten Mile Trail Run Hand Book from an authors perspective.
